We are still open for tourist information and packages to Miraflor and Somoto.

Please book with advanced notice for private rooms, due to high season. We recommend at least 48-72 hrs notice by email, due to limited email access time of administrators! You can always call us on 8441 8466, thanks.

Only one block from the Cathedral, Hospedaje LUNA is the most central, hassle-free accommodation in the city, with  the city’s most stylish all-day café bar, Café Luz, across the road, attracting a great mix of locals and international visitors.

Most importantly, Hospedaje Luna and Café Luz is a social enterprise model that donates its profits to local rural projects, which are community-led.

Please note that Luna and Cafe Luz ensures excellent working conditions for all our staff, minimum wage requirements fulfilled, tips received, meals, vacations and more.

ACCOMMODATION

• 3 private rooms now available

All private rooms in LUNA have a double bed plus a single bed, with crisp white cotton sheets, blankets, fan, in stylish décor, fresh and modern.

~Both private rooms now have new private bathrooms with hot water.

~Third private ensuite. Spacious, quiet and cool in a colonial adobe house, private newly redecorated bathroom, sleeps 2-5, in Cafe Luz. 2 double beds and a single, plus space for another single bed.

• PLUS 3 dormitories

~One dormitory, with only 6 beds, made locally in gorgeous hardwood, with fan, and private bathroom.

~The second dormitory has 10-12 beds, and space for extra mattresses, all with shared bathrooms with hot water showers.

New third small dormitory for up to 4-6 guests with new ensuite bathrooms.

• Dorm beds, (new mattresses!) $8.00.
• Remember, we're a fair wage employer and contrary to popular belief, that costs money. Wages are raised 2 x a year, at least 7% increase each time.
• Private rooms cost $22 for two and special rates for 3 or more. All have private bathrooms.
• No single occupancy bookings taken January to March, in high season.
• NEW PRIVATE ROOM at $22 for two, $27 for 3, $30 for four. Plus key deposit (returnable).
• Mattress only $5. Limited availability. Sleeping bag/sheet necessary.

Now offering a fully-furnished, city-centre house-share. Spacious, quiet, great security, fab kitchen, free internet, gardens for international visitors. 2 weeks minimum to longer-term. Contact us online. Fantastic for volunteers, students and NGO workers.

We offer specially reduced rates arranged in advance for groups and small organizations.

Packages can be arranged for groups, incorporating breakfasts and meals in Café Luz.

• Please make your reservation by email. 
• Inform us of your latest time of arrival.
• Inform us of your room preference, dates and the number of guests for your reservation.
• Any changes must be telephoned through.

• Children are very welcome, please state their ages.
• Younger children will not be charged if sharing parent's beds, and 4-8yr olds only a $1 surcharge for water costs per day. We prefer to host children in private rooms.
